No problem Even though Serj himself said that most of their songs are open to interpretation, for some reason the sexual undertones interpretation is more accepted than other interpretations It's still a loud and funny song nonetheless, simply SOAD
The frills. The light/dark color contrast. The old-school headphones. The disheveled, damn-all-else joy. If I wasn't utterly certain she'd inadvertently deck and/or rack me, then treat my wheezing carcass like a DDR platform ("Hey, your spine crunches funny! WHEE!!!", I'd party with the Pie.
For lack of a better word, this latest piece of yours turned out just splendidly. Like, AMAZINGLY splendid.
I'm surprised you went with such dark shades for her clothes. Or rather, my mind is probably just skewed from other P.Pie humanizations, which generally use cotton candy pink and blue for her apparel. Nevertheless, I love this choice of colour, as well as the clothes!
I'm no artist, but it's as if the fuzziness and chalkiness of the BG helps puts even more focus on Ms. Pie here. And you did right by your gut instinct, sticking with the original shading of your sketch. Looks great.
Best part about this pic is of course the "energy" Pinkie is exuding here. From her bouncy pose to that wacky grin on her face as she partehs FLCL style.
This had better be the benchmark for your next piece. Because it's gonna involve Beef Spike, right?
Yeah, for me I feel that this rocker girl look fits her well if she lived in this century instead of like 400 years ago where parties were probably like ecstasy to the Amish >.> Plus, how else better can I tie her to Goth-emo-chick Pinkiemena? :3 For the sake of lulz I'll probably put Pinkiemena in bright hot candy pink, heh.
Jiggle physics for all!
Yeah, but I might do a greytone for the next pic with a bit of color ala Sin City now that I think about it
not much to say but awesome. i am indeed loving this so much. the color and the style, its all blended really well and i may not know much about art but i think its wonderful. and the background also reminds of plenty older artists who i revere so much. Awesome work.
