GOOD GOD MY ARM HURTS
This took a whopping 6 days to finish, my left arm is completely numb at this point. BUT. This has to be, BY FAR, my most enjoyable piece yet. I admit freely taking lots and lots of inspiration from the great artist in Blizzard Wei Wang's piece for the female barbarian and my own personal art God Frazetta's Death Dealer (on top of color picking, but no one needs to know that >.>)
This piece is based on the MLP digital comic *which I have not read but a friend of mine showed me some pages; Based on the story arc of Nightmarity (I think?), there's a bit where Celestia tells the mighty and epic tale of the siege of Canterlot by the evil Cockatrices, where she and spike drove them off with trident and horn with nothing but grit and a metric ton of friendship.
This armor design is my favourite, mostly because it's been FAR too long since I got to design some overly complicated armor piece with tons of texture and detail on it (although no where near as awesome as Wei Wang's piece, but I'm getting there)
Anyway, seeing Beefspike's growing popularity with the fandom, I hope you guys enjoy this one
This really took a large chunk of my soul and willpower with it, so I'll probably take a good long rest after this. Enjoy!
